Breastcancerwarden.com has been set up to give women suffering from breast cancer much needed support and advice. Some women do not seek medical advice immediately because of a lack of knowledge or sometimes they refuse to acknowledge there is a problem due to fear. Having experienced a closed family member being diagnosed with breast cancer, I realized that there is not much information about this condition. My aunty had found a lump in her breast but as it was not painful she did not realize that it was anything serious. It was only as the lump grew bigger that she sought medical advice. Now she has completed her treatment and is thankfully one of the survivors. I felt it’s important that people realize they are not going through this alone and therefore I decided to start this site. I would like to invite fellow survivors to also share their stories so as to provide support network for the women and their families.
